Perfectly clear that if we hadn't changed tactics we'd have drawn or lost.

Sam has all the evidence he needs to show that hoof hoof hoof and starting Nolan doesn't work.

Went down the Central at half time. Fucking awfull show- set up wrong. How the fuck we are in the position we are I do not know- don't get me wrong, I'm loving it but we looked like a pub side first half.

No midfield , no full backs getting forward. How the fuck we weren't 2 down at half time I do not know. This is hull city. Bottom three.

How the fuck does he get away with this?!??

At this rate half of WHO is a better manager than Allardyce though.

It has to be said it is a worry.

5 days fucking rest they have had.... that first half performance was fuck all to do with the Everton game.... absolute piss poor excuse

Lily Hammer 8:45 Sun Jan 18
Re: West Ham v Hull - Official Match Thread
Maybe it was a tactical decision not to go all out until later in the game. The first half was perhaps to contain Hull's early enthusiasm, and then turn the screw second half when they are tiring.

Maybe, it was that, and it worked a treat.

All you amateur wankers ought to stop 2nd guessing an experienced professional manager and stick to your day jobs.

It is odd how the same players can look knackered the first half only to spring a fresh set of legs once the formation is changed in the second. Only it isn't the manager playing a blinder, it's him refusing to play it right from the opening whistle.

Fair play to Fat Sam. Sorted it right out at half time. Good subs for a change too

Re: West Ham v Hull - Official Match Thread
He tinkers with the formation to include Nolan in the team

If he plays Nolan against the top teams we will be shredded

He goes missing for 80% of the games, against the shit teams he is covered by the better players around him

I detest the cunt, he offers fuck all to this team

1st half appalling sam changed formation at half time perfect 2nd half excellant result another great day at upton park.
Noble was dog shit today and should havee been subbed at ht but hes still one of our best players.

Re: West Ham v Hull - Official Match Thread
players looked absolutely knackered first half, thought they might after all the football since xmas.
The goal seem to lift them a bit, in both confidence and energy. Good display in the end.

Why has the atmosphere been so quiet since the Leicester or maybe Arsenal match? It was rocking till then

Arsenal and Everton were decent.

West Brom was New Years Day, always quiet.

Same for today 1:30 Sunday kick offs are normally subdued and dull in the stands.

Awful performance..........excellent result.........

Only looked a threat when Downing went in the hole

And I thought Valencia was the only payer that wasn't poor

Tbf after a very gruelling midweek game you can forgive a poor performance and if you dig out 3-0 on top of that I'll take that all day long

First half ,Nolan, noble and song were rubbish.

Don't think it would have mattered which one got subbed again moving downing central made the difference.

Much better second half.

That game would have been a defeat last season with a first half performance like that.

I dare say this thread is riddled with pantie moistening.

Re: West Ham v Hull - Official Match Thread
Yes fordstar

But like most of the team had a poor game in the cheat half and was substituted to allow downing a central role

You see, as not everyone is an agenda filled cunt, that is more than acceptable to say

Players have poor games

Song - for example - was one of the worst players on the park for the first half
